In order to increase service frequency along Meadow Street, and improve connections to/from Groton, SARTA proposes a new route 40 which will operate between Saratoga Bus Terminal and Groton.
On March 29th, 2022, SARTA operated a few buses on this new line, to see customer feedback. So far feedback has been met with mixed reactions
If approved, this new service will operate every 10 minutes between 6 am and 8 pm on weekdays, and every 20 minutes on weekends.
