The main goal of this new service is to cut down on travel times. SARTA Route 14 normally would take anywhere from 16 minutes to 20 minutes from downtown Saratoga to Albany. R-Line buses would cut travel times to anywhere from 8 to 12 minutes, running every 10 minutes at peak hours.
We are also pleased to announce have more plans for R-Line including the potential of all-door boarding, dedicated bus lanes, special liveries on the buses, and more. More information on the R-Line service could be seen on the R Line page.
